Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that almost always appears due to asbestos exposure. Malignant cells develop in the mesothelium or a protective lining that covers most of the body's internal organs. Scientists divide this into three types of cancer.
1. Pleural mesothelioma
This cancer attacks the pleura or lining of the lining of the lungs. This is the most common form.
2. Peritoneal mesothelioma
This cancer attack the lining of the stomach and in the peritoneum (the membrane the serosa is the largest cluster in the body). This is the second form is frequently found.
3. Pericardial mesothelioma
